The childhood home of Nathaniel Hawthorne – recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in the State of Maine - is badly in need of repairs.

This local community treasure needs your help - to preserve it now and for the benefit of future generations. The circa 1813 house and foundation require extensive building repairs.
